It's an English post

Just read my secondary classmate's blog post
I used to always wonder why she chose to type in English
Not insulting her English
Just feel that Chinese would be easier for a Chinese-educated student
I was quite impressed tho
When her post was about how she struggled with her poor English

I am struggling too (even now when I'm typing this post)
Due to bad experience while learning English
I don't like English
I hate how my dad force me to read those letters which I have no idea about the content at all
I hate when my dad restricted me to post or chat in English at facebook
I hate my dad forcing me to read English newspaper which is totally not interesting
( I don't like the English newspaper's layout)
It's so stupid for me
I know English is important but the wrong way of learning it makes me anti-English

But I have no choice
English is more popular than me
I have to use it , speak it, write it and listen to it

Luckily (or unfortunately?) Malaysian's English standard (ehem ehem)
I still managed to score well with my broken English hahaha(not sth to proud of )
I was forcing myself to deal with English
Imagining I spent my time to read all those boring news.......

Until I met pn chan koong foong(kfc)
I won't forget she gave me 11 mark out of 50 for my first essay which is about night market
I won't forget how she told the whole class I'm not going to score an A plus for my English
Thanks for her encouragement (I'm very sincere)
And also her high demand on our essay standard

Life was getting worse when I was studying A level (A level had become past tense for me haha oh my god time flies)
Law class was totally nightmare
My lecturer is an Indian guy who speaks English fluently (which is essential for all lecturers la of course )
Problem is the vocabulary is much more difficult to understand
I was sitting in the class, trying my best to catch up
Then I realized I struggled with listening the most , no matter in what language
If I don't know the spelling of certain word
Then I can't understand anything when someone is speaking to me

Sounds ridiculous right?
Straight A student (meh)

I don't even dare to speak English with my English- educated friends
They are thoughtful enough to speak Chinese with me
Maybe because they cannot understand my broken English as well 😂
I don't even wanna talk with my Malay housemate because she seems facing trouble to understand what I'm trying to say
It's very discouraging ya

But still
A level is a good platform for me, especially law
During my last semester , I got the best economics lecturer
Nah, her usual speaking speed is considered as fast ( for me it's quite okay)
She unconsciously spoke faster when she's trying to finish the syllabus
But I managed to follow her lesson
After time I only know that my friends actually couldn't follow her speed ya
Is it because I had improved?
I also don't know haha

Whatever
I still have room of improvement
I neither like nor hate English

But we have to survive
So

No choice la

P.S.
Was waiting for KTM while typing this post
Walau KTM sucks ttm
Slow dao
